On Friday, April 19, 2019 the Lions varsity baseball team will play a non-conference game under the lights at CHS Field against the St. Paul Academy Spartans. The game starts at 7:30 PM and promises both a great stadium experience and fun night watching the Lions and Spartans do battle.
7,200 seat CHS Field is the home of the St. Paul Saints of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, one of the most successful independent minor league baseball teams in the nation. Located in downtown St. Paul’s Lowertown area, CHS Field is an enjoyable place to watch baseball. The park has great views of downtown St. Paul buildings and is easily accessible from Interstate 94.
In 2016, CHS Field became the first ever minor league ballpark to win a prestigious American Institute of Architects Institute Honor Award and was named 2018’s Pro Baseball Field of the Year by the Sports Turf Managers Association.
The Lions invite all in the SCPA community to join them for a spring Friday evening at CHS Field and a great night of baseball.
