Boys Varsity Baseball · Lions Find Road Agreeable in 13-1 Conference Win Over PACT

The Prep varsity baseball team won its third straight game on Tuesday with a convincing 13-1 conference victory over the PACT Panthers at Central Park in Ramsey.
Senior captain Nolan Grubisch held the Panthers to just five hits over seven innings and allowed just one seventh inning run to lead the Lions to their first MCAA road win of the season.  Grubisch struck out eight while walking three.
The Lions scored in every inning but the fifth with a relentless attack led by Carter Rogness (3/3, 2 BB, 2 RBI, 2 runs).  The Lions were also rewarded for their patience as Rogness, Sam Johnson, Tony Pribnow (2 R), and Kosei Kiyomoto (3 R) each drew two walks while Teige Lethert reached twice on HBPs. Grubisch also scored twice for the Lions as did Barrett Benson who also had a pair of RBIs.
